ELI – Polska National Consortium in collaboration with Heavy Ion Laboratory at the University of Warsaw cordially invites you to ELI Day at HIL.
This one day in-person event aims at fostering collaboration in the field of nuclear and particle physics between Polish researchers and Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) – the world's largest and most advanced high-power laser infrastructure, with facilities located in Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania. The agenda features three thematic sessions:
- detailed presentation of infrastructure available at ELI: including practical details, experience from previous experiments and perspectives for future expanded opportunities
- research profiles of leading Polish organisations in the context of collaboration with ELI
- presentations of selected Polish experiments conducted at ELI.
The speakers represent ELI (ELI-Nuclear Physics facility in particular) and Polish research organisations including AGH University of Krakow, Institute of Nuclear Physics PAS, Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microfusion, National Centre For Nuclear Research, University of Warsaw and Warsaw University of Technology.
The organisers aim at exchanging information and experience, connecting new partners and inspire future collaborations through ELI User Calls as well as other projects. The event will provide opportunities for individual discussions and networking.
Participation is free of charge, however previous registration is required.
